All First Backup subscribers have instant
access to restore any version of their data files. Due to
the techniques used in the binary patching backup technology,
a file history is created and stored in a minimal amount of
disk space. Although each incremental backup only contains
the small changed portions of the file, the server software
has the capability of recovering any version of a file from
the initial backup to the last incremental backup and every
version in between.
After you select the file you want restored,
simply select which version of that file you need. That’s
it! So, even if an errant or corrupted file is backed up to
the server, you can always retrieve a prior version of the
file.
