While out-of-site, out-of-mind is perfect for some
subscribers, others require immediate notification of backup
success or failure. For those who need to know, the client software
can be easily configured to send e-mail to any subscriber(s)
upon completion of any successful backup or a backup with errors
or warnings. A summary of the backup attempt is sent in the
body of the message and the complete log
file may be optionally attached. |
